  • My surgeon did 2 areas, C5-6 & C6-7, Cervical Foraminotomy. Although only C6-7 showed the pinched area, he elected to do C5-6 while he was in there, because he said 9 times out of 10 it will need relief sooner or later. No big deal, just alot of post op pain. It's all good - thx for commenting! My muscle pain has gone away almost 100% since therapy... that was my one & ony complaint. It was a very tearful event, the post op pain. Didn't think I was gonna make it through recovery a-l-i-v-e. Evday for mos & mos so very painful, made me depressed & felt completely hopeless. No one to talk to that has gone through it! That's when I got in here. Thank God!
