hi folks if any one has been following my medical progress you will know that i am now unable to have conventional back surgery and i have been told that ..as a last ditch attempt to help with my intractable back pain ..i have been told that ADR is the only option available to me ..what i would like to know is has anyone had this operation and if so was it multi level {because i would require 3 levels doing} and i have read that ADR is only suitable for single level and as i have facet joint hypertrophy i have also read that any one with facet joint syndrome is NOT suitable for ADR anyway!!
confused ..yes i am

  • there's someone else on here that has had a triple adr. in fact i believe that is the members user name. have you tried typing adr into the spine health search box? a few months ago there was a lot of discussion on adr both cervical and lumbar.

i found his user profile for you

  • i have done my own research and it looks bleak to say the least ..i would like to speak to someone that's been through the procedure

  • Hi!
My husband had a 4-level ADR with Maverick discs in Caracas, Venezuela with a great doctor 5 months ago. Our governement paid for the discs and the insurance Co. paid for the operation. You can see the picture.
    He is doing fantantic!
Of course he was a good candidate.
You have to be sure you are too.
    2nd opinions count.
    Good luck,
