I'm glad, because I'm tired of the pain, numbness, and tingling.

I'm concerned because of the holiday season coming up. My dh is a middle and high school orchestra director, and this is his busy season coming up. He has in-school rehearsals and concerts almost every week from next Monday through the holiday break.

The scheduler is supposed to call me soon (I assume tomorrow or next day) to set it up.

I'm not really worried about the surgery itself. I made it through the lumbar fusion well, and I expect the same now.

Guess I'll be around quite a bit for a while to come. :)

  • Congratulations on finally having solid answers! My hubby gets a kick out of me because no matter if I get "good news" or "bad news", I am actually in a good mood! Yesterday I had an appointment with my NS. Good news and not so good news, but I had answers! Good luck with your upcoming surgery. :-) Take care.

  • I'm getting anxious for the sceduler to call. With the holiday season approaching, and my dh's concert schedule, I have to really be careful when I schedule the surgery.

    But I can't wait!

I hear ya there! None of us "want" surgery, but it does get to a point that the pain, weakness etc. so affects our day to day living, it becomes a must. What's that saying? "A necessary evil?" Out of surgery most of your pre-surgical pain hopefully will be gone. You will get "new" pains, but for most, those go away with time too! Good luck, I will be watching for updates! *HUG* :-)
