  • Hi Brian, I'm glad you are posting 10 days post op.

    I've had 2 microD's at L5/S1.
I learned...listen to your doctor when he says take it easy the first 6 weeks to 3 months.

    Walking was my friend.
    Lifting, twisting, bending...enemy.
Asking for and accepting help from friends family...was a smart thing.

I hope you are finding relief.
I'm 6 months post op of the revision and doing better. I have a bit of a ways to go but am seeing improvement in my leg strength and reduced back/leg pain.

I hope you are doing well.
  • I am doing really well!! I am so glad about that. I for sure will continue to take it easy. I am so glad it is working out for me. My pain is mostly in the morning, but the rest of the day I am feeling great. I still lay on the couch for most of my time.
  • Terrific that you're going along nicely and that the afternoons and evenings are pretty good.

You're doing the right thing by resting and allowing your back to heal.

Wishing you lots more good days.
