Hi everyone, I am new here...I have chronic lumbar pain for 8 years now. I am fused from L-1 through S-2. They took out peices and parts from all discs in between in 2005. I have 2 10 inch rods and 26 screws. Such a life. I had my surgery when I was 27 years old. Anyone wanting to talk just gimme a holler. I was diagnosed at 25 with DJD or Degenerative Disc Disease, Spinal Stenosis and Scoliosis 42*. They waited so long to do my surgery that the sheathing on my spinal cord was partially severed. And by the time I found a surgeon to do the surgery, (I was incontinent at times) and could not feel the lower half of my left leg, met with him and had surgery 1 week later. Anyone wanting to chat, gimme a holler.
