Hi all,

My back pain started 3.5 years ago after I gave birth to twins. I had a laminectomy/discectomy at the L5-S1 level in 06/07 and then again in 01/09.

About 5 weeks ago the L5-S1 herniated yet again. I'm now on Naproxen and Oxycodone - but they don't help the nerve pain enough for me to function.

I'm currently waiting it out. My spine surgeon would like to do a spinal fusion at this time, but would agree to one more discectomy.

So I'll be hanging around until the disc heals itself or gets operated on!
