Feeling down and anxiety over surgery etc..

  • Howdy Ms. Splenda!! :)

Again, so happy all the insurance mess got cleared up, and too that your original date stayed intact. :)

Oddly I don't have jitters yet, and mine is a week from today. I guess in part its because I am at more risk NOT having the surgery than having it - making it a no brainer for my little brain! (G) Not looking forward to post op, but I have a small idea how that mess is going to feel thanks to some on here who have gone through similar. Whew!!

I went online and got a lot of my pre to post surgery shopping list done. My last fusions I had some ROM, this one I don't think there will be much, so got support items (bathroom, shower, support etc.) I'm actually doing a LOT more planning for recovery this go around than I did for my last surgeries - odd huh?

Have you finished your "at home prep" checklist for what you feel you will need and want? Might help distract your mind a bit and calm you. It will come together, of that I am pretty sure Ms. Splenda. *HUGZ*
