hello everyone, i have been looking on here for a while, i just had problems setting up an account, now it is resolved. i am 41 and have a bulging disc l4,l5, and a herniated disc l5,si, i have had physical therapy, 4 epidural injections, and am now contemplating a microdiscectomy, this has been going on for a year now. it was mostly sciatic nerve pain, but most recently my lower back on the left side has started hurting more. i am a material handler, that requires lifting up to 70 pounds at work.that is what worries me about this surgery the most, if i will be able to do my job and support my family.
