Cervical block vs. Cervical epidural injection

I have chronic neck pain after my car accident last year in Sept 2011. I been to chiropractor every week and now trying physical therapy and the pain is still there. No decrease or improvement of my pain. I am also taking pain medicine and the pain still persist. I am thinking about injection for my chronic neck pain. I read both injections are for neck pain but not sure which one should I get. Can someone help me? I hate needle and low tolerance for pain so that is why I have avoided the injection. But now my pain is so intolerable that I just want to take sleeping pill and go to sleep so I can numb my pain. I just want to pain to stop so I can try to hit the gym with low impact exercise to let my body heal slowly so I can get back to my normal life.
