problems with insurance and nerve blocks

My pm office and insurance has been going back and forth about the nerve block. It has been rescheduled for March 8th. Hopefully I should have an answer tomorrow. My ? is do health insurances cover nerve blocks for back pain? Do I expect a long battle with them not wanting to cover it.?

  • I don't know if you've heard back from your insurance by now. You can contact your insurance directly to find out what the issue may be. I was thinking maybe they might want to try physical therapy or other treatment before going to the block.
