Chronic pain: Scheurmanns disease

New member introductions: I'm a 25 yr old male living in the UK and suffer with scheurmanns disease, diagnosed in adolescence. I have chronic thoracic and cervical spine pain (starting to get lumbar twinges as well), muscle pain in the shoulders and along spine as well as nerve pain in limbs and head. I currently take tramadol (100mg qds) and codeine (60mg). Latest MRI shows disc degen. and multiple Schmorls nodes throughout spine: I've been told that it isn't going to get any better, only worse.

I have joined this forum in the hope of finding some pain management tips, solidarity and to speak with others who have the same or similar problems. Scheurmanns is a rare disease, and even rarer to present with complications past adolescence, but I guess I must be one of the lucky few!

If you are afflicted with, or have any knowledge of this condition I would love to hear from you.
