Cervical pain but no answers

Hi there, I am new here but I hope you dont mind me popping down a question?

I have had moderate neck pain/stiffness/soreness for about 2 years, together with upper back muscle tightness and pain. As a result of the neck pain I also have daily chronic headaches. The pain never goes away its 24/7.

I have been through 2 physios, 2 chiropractors, massage, trigger point massage and acupuncture (inc dry needling)

No success so far.

My MRI of neck and back only showed mild Scheurmanns with disc "desiccation". meaning, i presume, thinning or lack of water.

My pain doc has done a cervical medial branch block with no effect on the pain.

He thinks that there is some form of arthritis or degeneration in the cervical area which is causing the headaches and pain stiffness. I have had no previous big trauma to the area (other than weightlifting).

However, as I had no response to the branch block I will not be given choice of Facet Joint injections, which to me would be worth a try.. especially as they should reduce inflamation. (Id presumed that the nerve block was to see if the pain was caused by the nerves supplying the facet joint).

He hasnt discharged me yet, but has said there is very little we can do..

Any advice gratefullly received! and thanks for listening to me garble on. I know people round here have it much worse than me so I dont want to seem moany!
