2 weeks post op - decompression and discetomy L4/L5 and L5/S1

I had surgery 2 weeks ago today and things are going well so far.
It feels sore where the surgery was (understandably) but I am managing to walk for about 20 minutes without the leg pain that I had previously (when I realised that it was an amazing feeling!). I am going for 2-3 short walks a day and doing my physio exercises 3 times a day. I have had amazing support from family and friends so I feel very lucky.

I am just still very bloated. Has anyone experienced this? This is really uncomfortable as I'm living in leggings etc and don't fit into my other clothes and as soon as I eat (even if it's just a salad), I feel like I've had a 5 course meal. I was constipated after the surgery for about 4 days but now everything is back to normal. I stopped taking tramadol (awful stuff) 5 days after the surgery and am just taking paracetomol and ibuprofen for pain relief.

Does anyone have any tips, the doctors didn't really mention these side effects.
