I am having a SCS put in on Oct. 1st. Because of all my hardware the Doc. will be using the paddle system. Today his PA called and told me to bring my old brace with me. I asked why and was told I would have to ask the Doc. In all my readings on the SCS I don't remember anyone using a brace after surgery. Does anyone know why?

  • Your doctor may want you to wear it during the recovery period to prevent you from doing things that he restricts. The only way to know for sure is to wait and ask him.
  • to start forgetting about the restrictions. I wish I had a neck brace as I often over due it. So may be a good thing for you. Let us know.
