Cervical Ablation and Neurontin/Gabapentin

Hello all I have never written a post I just read them often. I decided to write this one because I see there are many people who have had cervical ablation and are in more pain than before the procedure. I had mine done 5 days ago after a fusion caused residual nerve damage and I was suffering the same sensations, burning, tightness, spasms. I couldn't take it any more and my daughter, who is 20, said why don't you try the Neurontin that you have from 2 years ago. Well I took 2 pills and an hour later I was completely pain free for about 4 hours. This drug treats nerve pain and you can take all the opiates you want and it will not work. Please ask you doctor for Gabapentin/Neorontin. Another med is Lyrica which is almost the same just stronger. These are not opiates and can be called in to your pharmacy. Give it a try don't suffer for weeks. I hope this helpd someone. Good luck all!!
