Hi all
I was a member some years back 2007/2008 when I had 3 level fusion in the UK.
Well I've been thru a lot since then - hip replacement, dislocation and revision, arthritis in both thumb joints (awaiting surgery)- and still I have back pain.
Last year I had cortisone shots in my back which gave 75% relief and I was able to, reduce the painkiller dramatically.
After 4 months the pain returned and it is back with avengance now. I have trouble sitting, standing and now lying!
So tomorrow I am scheduled to have the nerves burned and hopefully I can finally get some relief.
I have been reading posts and looking thru the videos so that I know whats to come.
Lets see how this works as I'm ever hopeful!
Snoopy - L3-L5 fusion 2008, half the hardware removed 2009, hip replacement 2010, revised 2013. Ongoing back pain thru this. Cortisone injections 2013, now RFA 20.02.2014 to help with chronic back pain. Oh and arthritis in both thumb joints!
