Spinal Cord Stimulation for Chronic Pain

Hello I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has had the spinal cord stimulation procedure for nerve pain. I had an alif procedure done a year and half ago and now I have a bone spur in that location causing pain down my right leg. The only way to get rid of the pain is this procedure or to have the spur removed which is much more invasive. I'm really nervous regarding this procedure and would like some more information from someone who has first hand experience.
