3 level fusion

edited 12/26/2014 - 9:14 PM in Lower Back Pain
How is everyone doing? I am 39 and had a 3 level lumbar fusion done 2 years ago! The L-3 through the S-1! Was wondering if anybody has had any problems with the screws and/or rods! I have 9 screws, 3 rods, and 6 posts! I think one of my lower screws has started to come out!

After my first L5/S1 fusion, my pain returned a few months later. It too my doctors almost 5 years to finally admit that I had a cracked screw and a stripped screw! I had the L5/S1 refused in 2011 but it did nothing to relieve my pain and, in fact, my pain became worse and I had to stop working. My docs used X-Ray, CT Scan, and MRI to identify the problems with my fusion. Also, get a second opinion if you are not satisfied with your curent doctors.
