Question about total disk replacement

Hi Everybody,i need some advice.Does anyone know if you can get a total disk replacement in the UK on the NHS ??My spinal consultant mentioned yesterday my only option is fusion on my damaged L5 disk.I would never have a fusion due to 2 people I know who have had the procedure and they are in a worse state than before. Also with fusion on your lower back you would never have 100% mobility and the success rate is poor.Any advice would be great ive always found this site very helpful in the past.
