Numb Feet

I am glad that I located these forums. Good stuff read already.

I have been suffering a long time but just before Christmas I couldn't get out of bed. L1/L2 and L5/SII have been on Oxycodone 30mg's, Neurontin, Trazadone and Ambien for sleep, and Ativan for panic attacks. These were prescribed a couple of years ago after a double discectomy at C4/5, 5/6.

The newest doc also added 800mg's of Ibuprofen and 500mg's a Tylenol every 4 hourrs. I'm am deathly afraid of my liver and kidney's. Adding to my horror the same doctor told me that he is surprised that I haven't died in my sleep, causing me to fight sleep to the point of deprivation. I AM scared!

I have a question regarding the different nerve techniques to deal with pain. My feet are already numb much of the time. If the doctor numbs/kills the nerve root will that completely numb the feet? I have deep gashes already from running into things. I cannot handle numb, tingly feet but feel that I have no choice in the procedure now that I lost my job and became a Medi-Cal patient.
