I had surgery on Feb. 10, 2015
I had severe back pain and neck pain for over 6 months.,
I had seen my primary MD who had sent me to xxxx back in 2013.
They had done an MRI and said my condition was not seen as any issue. They stated that I had a slight Disk bulge but they I did not need any tratments past Physical Therphy.
Of course it did nothing. The pain continued.
I saw my Primary again a few weeks later the said it was bursitis. They gave me predison in high doses,
the pain never disapated.
I decided to change to another shoulder MD. I saw Dr.xxxx . Again the treatment for Bursitis continued with steroid injections. The relief would be slight and only for a few days. They suggested I see a Different Spin Specialist for another opininon since I had no relief.
I then saw Dr. xxxx I was having severe shoulder pain and neck pain, headaches, tingling on the right side in upper arm that went into chest area, weakness in arm , loss of balance and dizziness.
He suggested a repeat MRI and found that I had two issues.
At C3 and C4 I had severe Arthritis that would need to be fused.
At C6 & C7 the disk was broken and putting pressure on the spinal cord. There was no fluid being able to feed the spinal cord around the area.
I had and answer. finally !
I was set up for bilateral surgery . Both procedures to be done at the same time.
These were to be Anterial. A fusion at C3 and C4, and a total disk replacement at C6 and C7,
3 hours later I was done.

My issues now are...
Several times I have had several times where I am standing and felt like the fluids were leaving my body from the head down.

I have had another time where I just feel that the left side of my face feels strange, Almost like I felt drugged, it can last a few min. my face feels drawn or droopy. My husband says that my face looks like I have taken a bunch of meds and doped. But I have not taken any pain meds.

I have also felt like my vision is different. I can be fine and then all of the sudden feel like I can not focus. Everything is slightly blured. Again it last a few min. then it gets better.

Sleep sucks. I sleep for about 3 to 4 hours and I am up. It seems when I would have maybe turned over. I end up waking up and cant get comfortable.

Dizziness is still slight when bending over for any period of time.

I am not sure what to do with this and I am wondering of anyone is having these issues.
