Diagnosis and Treatment for Damaged Discs in the Cervical Spine:

I am very scared my doc recommended surgery, but so in pain, I am afraid NOT to. My questions are about the many posts that talk about the problem of chronic nerve damage if the situation is left alone (such as paralysis) Vs. The fact it seems even more that talk about their pain getting worse post op after time. Should I or shouldn’t. That is me, this all started with an injury 10 years ago and had a couple of whiplashes one from an extremely bad car accident in 05-(perpetuator uninsured of course) Today I can’t do anything but lay on ice. What if i still leave it alone ( someone is sending me to a specialist who claims that through a type of Bodywork that re aligns muscles - adjusts bones and teaches body posture can cure me. Well i don't know how that i can walk right when i am so dizzy i cannot stay on my feet long.

So many people who got the contemporary sugary for this complain of MORE PAIN 4 years prior to surgery -, vs. if I let it go will I still be doing even more harm.
