Severe Pain in Neck- Hurts to swallow- Which doc to see?

I woke up with a really bad stiff neck.

It hurts in the middle like where the spine is. Its not pain in my neck from sleeping crooked like on either side,
This feels more inside my spine in the middle.

It really hurts to yawn and even worse when i try to swallow food or even saliva. Side to side movement isnt AS bad as back and forth motion.

Should I see the Ortho or maybe just a Chiropractor? Or should I wait it out..

I have a heat patch and took some Aleeve.. not helping.

  • Sounds like your atlas/axis is out, maybe even your jaw. I think chiropractor is a good start.
