Ok. Chronicals of the strange symptoms is here...

I am trying to get some good exercise in and get rid of this excess weight. While I was riding the exercise bike, it felt like my whole spine was shifting from the base of my neck to my tailbone and my hips were popping every time I peddled. It felt like my whole spine was popping at the neck also. I had pain all the way down my right side to my feet. It wasn't horrible pain though. Most of the pain was in my shoulders though. Has anyone experienced this before?
I had acdf at C5/C6 last September. I have had pain issues since then in my neck, head and shoulders.

It may just have been muscles, ligaments and tendons shifting and popping from using them to ride the bike. The shoulder pain was probably related to using your shoulders at heights they haven't been used at for sustained time since your surgery.

  • I haven't used them a whole lot in the past year besides at work. I want to be able to ride my bike this summer with the family so I am trying to get ready.
