These are my MRI results:
Straightening of Cervical Lordosis
C2-3 – Bulging disc; uncovertebral hypertrophy; facet arthrosis. Left Neural Foraminal Narrowing
C3-4 – Bulging disc, facet arthrosis
C4-5 – Bulging disc with flattening of the anterior thecal sac; Facet arthrosis (arthritis)
C5-7 fusion
C6-7 –Facet arthrosis(facet joint osteoarthritis), Bilateral Neural Foraminal Narrowing
C7-T1 – Bilateral Neural Foraminal Narrowing; Cervical Spondylosis
T1-T2 – Bulging disc
T2-T3 – Herniated disc: Central Protrusion; Facet arthrosis; R Neuro Foraminal Narrowing
T3-4 thru T7-8 – Bulging discs
T8-9 – Herniated disc: L Paracentral disc protrusion; flattening of the anterior thecal sac; Neural foraminal narrowing
T9-10 through T12-L1 – Bulging discs
L1-2 – normal
L2-3 – Bulging disc; facet joint fluid; facet arthropathy & ligamentum flavum thickening
L3-4 – Circumferential disc bulging; facet arthropathy & ligamentum flavum thickening, facet joint fluid; thecal sac measures approximately 9mm AP; moderate neural foraminal narrowing
L4-5 – Circumferential disc bulging; Moderate facet arthropathy & ligamentum flavum thickening, facet joint fluid; thecal sac measures approximately 8mm AP; moderate neural foraminal stenosis
L5-S1 – fusion
L5-S1 – Bilateral neural foraminal stenosis

What treatment should I expect? I see the neurosurgeon next week...

    Wow - that's a lot of disc issues, et al. Noting the spondylosis and the fused vertebrae, have you been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis? Because it really looks familiar - I have AS. Have you seen a rheumatologist? If it is AS, you can be put on biologic meds, which can help avoid inflammation and further spinal and joint damage. But surgeons will have to come up with a plan for addressing all of your bulging discs. Maybe epidurals, if you haven't already done that. Best to try something like that before surgery. Trust me.

    But it would be good to get to the underlying issue for some of these problems, such as the fusion and spondylosis. A rheumatologist - a good one - can become your most important health partner. Good luck!
