Anyone been in Inpatient Rehab following surgery?

Hi all :-) I am going in for a fusion from T5 to L2 with an osteotomy on Monday. My neurosurgeon said that I will most likely be going to inpatient rehab following my hospital stay. I have never been in a facility post op so I am praying someone can give me some insight. My questions are: What is a day in rehab like? What should I pack? Do they provide supplies for daily living (grabber, dressing stick, sock puller etc) or should I plan on buying these things and take them with me? Also, and words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :-)
