Hello all!

I just wanted to take a moment to say hello to everyone. I have used this site often to get me through some of my toughest times and I am happy to be able to reach out to others who are walking the same path as I am. I live on the east coast, love my family and am fighting like a bull to get my life back! I know it will never be the life I had before being injured but I want one where I can enjoy my family (grandson especially!) and get some activity back. The walls close in on me lots from having to be in the house more than I can get out. Thank you all for having me here and I look forward to meeting and keeping great online friends. Love and Peace to you all ..... Jane
This too shall pass.

    Hi Jane :)

Welcome! Sorry to hear of your struggles. Many here to share the joys and sorrows with.

I hear ya about having to spend more time inside than out. I used to be a very outdoorsy person...always biking, hiking, boating, camping, etc. Now I'm like a cave dwelling hermit :/  I hope I can turn this around soon. I have a two year old boy :/  Summer is here at last!

May I ask what happened to cause your pain/symptoms?

    Thanks,
    Sara :)

  • Welcome Jane
I also used to be very much an outdoor person and love gardening ... all a dim, distant memory, but I try and do what I can and praise myself on my abilities now and try not to compare to 'my past life'" alt="" height="20" />

Would be interesting to hear about what led you to join us here.  I think Sara is interested as well
