Spinal cord stimulator for chronic cervical pain

Hi everyone
I hope someone may know about A road that I may be about to travel. I'm awaiting approval for a SCS, I have been dealing with chronic pain for the last 9 years. I've tried every drug that my team of 8 specialists over the last 9 years thought would assist but due to severe side effects nine where sustainable. I've had 2 neck surgeries both failed and now the SCS is the suggestion. My question has anyone had or know anyone that has had this procedure and has it helped with their pain.
So confused about all I've read which mostly is to do with lower back
look forward to any advice or information.
