New member, spinal fusion following fractured veetebrae

Hello everyone
I'm a 35 year old woman from the UK who had posterior lumber fusion (T12 to L2) following a fractured L1 vertebrae (compression fracture) sustained as a result of a fall from my horse. My accident was on 7th August and my surgery on 10th August so I'm currently 3.5 weeks post-surgery..interested particularly in experiences of anyone that has had this type of surgery for a fracture rather than a degenerative condition.
I seem to be doing well so far but interested to compare notes - things that helped etc
Look forward to 'meeting' some of you!

    Hi clare
I have not had the same experience as you but wanted to say hello! I had a microdiscectomy in june due to a herniation. I'm glad to hear your recovery is going well.
