C5-C6 Disc Replacement Advice from Anyone with This Surgery

Dear All,
A few years ago I had an L5S1  successful surgery and found this site very helpful and encouraging post op.

I have been dealing with a lot pain the last 3 months associated with a herniation in C5-C6.  Sharp stabbing pain in lower neck and top right arm, and lots of tingling down the arm and entire right hand. I tried my Physical Therapy and some Oral Steroids and no help, so I've scheduled a C5-C6 disc replacement surgery, no fusion so happy about that.

I am 37 very active and enjoy running, light weights, and trying to get back into golf.

I wanted to hear some feedback from any of you who have had this surgery. How was your surgery? How soon after surgery did you begin PT? After PT were you able to get back to doing things you love, like working out again, running, etc.

I am a little nervous, as I was with L5S1, but going back to have surgery with same neurosurgeon, so that is promising.
