Need surgery on my back but have no money or insurance and live in Texas

  • Ddaymen.
The ER cannot turn you away.
    But as you know..the wait.

    Keep fighting.
I have tried over 5 times to get SS.

my case is worthless. Or so they say.

The last attorney made it to the little trial.
The County is harder..but keep trying to get in.
Thats the problem of having to jump through hoops.

The county medical card is worth getting,
There are numerous clinics around the county.
Sadly, you have a co pay, waiting period..where your in pain..and then see the Doc or PA.

But it is worth the wait.

It is admirable to want to be Productive.
But right now, your priority as you well know is getting relief.

    Your health is always first
The endgame..is to be healthy as possible...for as long as possible.

    Keep fighting, keep digging
If one clinic wont take you, there are others.

Don't give up on disability. That's their little game, keep denying so you will drop it. Don't!! Keep fighting.
You will get back to work but right concentrate on your health. If you have to go to the ER go, as stated, they can't refuse you.
Good luck, sounds like you are exhausting all areas. Hope you find relief soon.

Thank you for the encouragement! When it gets so bad I can't walk I thought about going to the ER but I'm afraid they would just give me shots to stop the pain and send me on my way thus securing another bill of 3 or $4,000

Sadly that county doesnt have a Teaching Hospital.
Possibly in Houston or Dallas..need to research a bit

A web search does show there are hospitals as such in other bigger cities.
    As David,said..keep going!
There will be a solution, its a matter of having to gut it out sometimes.
