My name is Michelle and I had instrumentation and fusion of my L4-L5 on August 25th. The surgery went well and all of the pain and numbness are gone from my right leg.
Its been 5 weeks and my back is still swollen (not as much now) and I still feel some pulling.
I've been going back to the gym, but just riding the recumbent bike. I was so active before all this started and I had this pain for over a year before surgery.
i think I may be doing too much, or its just taking a longer time to heal. I have been doing more ending than I should.
My surgeon hasn't set me up with a PT.
Is anyone 5 weeks out from surgery?
