yesenia - I was wondering what specialists are working with your son.  I know that with a pre-adult patient, there are additional considerations because patients like your son are still growing.  Is a second opinion an option?  From my own experience, I have possible issues in the high neck area and the neurosurgeon that did a mid-neck fusion all of a sudden won't talk about it.  I'm scheduled in two weeks to see a neuromuscular specialist.

For your son's sake, keep pressing for action.
