How long have you had your scoliosis surgery?

I have scoliosis but a surgery is still optional, so I want to know what will happen maybe 10 or 20 years after the surgery. The surgery is a success for the first 2-5 years but I don't know what happens after that. So, if you had the surgery for 20 years or more , would you mind telling me what happened and how do you feel right now? Did you get better ? Do you still have back pain and do the rods hurt you? Are you facing any kind of issue because of it?
Thank you very much!
