Hello everybody.I finally got an assessment with a preoperative assessment nurse,after more than four months waiting time.Does anyone know what is going to happen in this appointment and how long after this I will wait again until the operation date?Thank you

    Monikoki, have you been approved for surgery?
    If so, I would assume it would be a briefing before surgery. Any questions or concerns regarding both sides, going over meds and allergies, anything regarding your surgery. 
    If I were you, I would start making a list of any questions and concerns you have regarding surgery and take it with you for this appointment.
    But please do us a favor. After your appointment, please post what this assessment was about as we would really like to know.
