Good news with new SCS setting

Been having serious lumbar issues recently. Last night, it came to a head. I could not even watch an NBA game in my recliner without dying in pain. This was after taking a full round of my meds. I have 4 programs, on my SCS, and none were phasing my lumbar pain. (I am scheduled for a lumbar RFA later this month. I had my last one in Aug and it's wearing off!!) I have high frequency settings, on my SCS,  where I don't feel anything. I have one program that works best for my lumbar pain. The intensity can be set from 0-100. I had been running it in the high 30s. I decided to try to crank it up to almost 50. It worked!! Been waking up with serious lumbar pain each morning lately too. This morning, with the new setting, I woke up with no lumbar pain. While this may be temporary or last quit a while, I will take the little victories while I can. I don't get much SCS direction from my docs or the Nuvectra rep so I'm kind of on my own to find a setting that works.
