Doctor Ray is a neurosurgeon at Sentara Hospitals in Norfolk, Virginia. He is the President and Chairman of the American College of Spine Surgery and a Spinal Neurosurgeon at the Institute for Low Back & Neck Care in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the President of InveRay, Ltd. and the Medical Director and Chairman Emeritus of RayMedica Inc. Dr. Ray completed a fellowship in neurophysiology and EEG at the Mayo Foundation in Rochester, Minnesota. His neurosurgery residency and straight surgery internship were both at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Doctor Ray earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia, his M.S. in Clinical and Experimental Psychology at the University of Miami, and his A.B. in pre-med and physics at Emory University.
