started pain patchI

Hi, I started the pain patch - first 2 days were tough (nausea & headaches), but now its working!!!! I can even move my right hand, arm, & shoulder. I even slept through the night!! I hope this works out so I can stick with PT!!

  • And welcome to SH. Something that works very well for nausea is ginger. You can get ginger root in your local grocery store. Just slice off a piece and place it between your cheek and gum. It worked well for me when I first started on methadone. Good luck and please keep us posted.
  • I am new to the forum as well Jean. I was thinking about asking my Dr. for this option too. Moving your arm, (etc.) and SLEEP too :O ! I hope this continues to help your pain.
