Leg numbness and pain

AnonymousUserAAnonymousUser Posts: 49,731
I have had leg pain for sometime due to L4-L5. Also L3-L4 has bulges. Am scheduled for disectomy in about 10 days to relive pressure and hence the pain. For the past 2 days my leg pain shot up and the foot numbness also. Now I cannot lift by right leg fingers up or even left it from the toe. So basically I can push down but not up.

Since my primary surgeon is out of office for 10 days, having hard time reaching another neuro surgeon. There is another surgeon who is on call, but he does not want to see me.

My question is that is it ok to wait till my dr. comes back from his conference? Anyone had this condition and then it was ok after surgery. I don't have a full dropped leg yet but am concerned that that may eventually happen.
