How does the ER Oxycontin work? What gives it the ability to be an extended release?
Second, is generic ER oxy just as good as name brand??

  • There is a special coating on the pill that provides the slow release of the medication.That's why the pill must not be crushed or chewed.As far as generic vs brand name.They work pretty much the same for me.
