I just found you great site. I am hoping to find help that I have not been able to find anywhere else. I had back surgery back in the summer of 07 for spurs. I have had some back and leg pain since but nothing that I could not with stand until 3 days ago. I am having unbearable pain radiating down my leg, hip and into my foot, below knee cap. The pain is in the groin, and side of the stomach also. The pain in the leg is everywhere. I have tried ice and heat but nothing seems to be helping. I thought this may be siatic in nature but would that pain be everywhere. When I move my toes that pain goes everywhere. Does anyone else have symptoms as these? I tried to get into see doctor but with the holidays his office was closed on Friday. I was wondering should I been seen by a orthopedic or another sort of doctor.

THANKS SO MUCH

  • Debby and welcome to the forum. You will find alot of support and understanding here....our members are all amazing. I would say that you definitely need to get into the doctor as soon as possible....is there any way that you can atleast get into see your family doc? If so , then they would be better off to tell you where to go from there and get a referral for you.....sometimes you can get in quicker with a referral than when you make the appointment yourself. Please do keep us posted as to how you are doing and what you find out. If there is anything at all that I can help you with then please feel free to PM me and just let me know. Wishing you the best , take care....Miki
  • :) hi and welcome to the forum! :H we are here to offer you support and answer what questions we can. good luck as you seek pain treatments! Jenny :)
  • I had pain everywhere in my leg and foot at first when I got a herniated disc. The Drs questioned why the front of my calf was sore and I had to go for dopplers to rule out DVT even though there was no redness but I had alot of swelling. They also said the extra weight I've gained since being off work also can contribute to leg pain. I hope you can see your Dr and find out what's going on or even a walk in place especially with pain in the stomach. Take care. Charry
