Hello I am Ben, a new member here. I do need your help to get some information about the MicroSpine surgery or Laser Endoscopic Spine Surgery.
I have a low back pain really bother me for a long time. I can not sit for long time, I can not carry heavy stuff, even hold up my 2 years daughter is a challenge for me; and my left leg start hurting.
The MRI I took on Oct. 08 shows,
1.small broad-based disc protrusion centrally and right paracentrally at L3-L4 with intrasubstance tear of the posterior annulus in this region.
2.Minimal to mild circumferential disc bulging at L4-L5.
3.Desiccation of the L5, L4 and L3 discs with the heights of the disc spaces being fairly well maintained.
I consulted a neural surgery specialist and he said my case is not in a seriously condition and no surgery needed this moment. I have been doing physical therapy for a while, not too much help. I just can not back to my normal life. I am looking some information online and find out the MicroSpine surgery. It sounds good. But I have no any idea about it. All they said it will be a wonderful solution for the back pain relieves. I would like get some information from your guys about it. What do you think? And what did you hear about it?
I know lots of place doing it. The one that I know doing it is called MicoSpine, in Defuniak Springs, FL. It accepts my insurance. Is this a good one? Too many questions, your answers would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
