Hello, My name is Christopher. We are not talking on the best of times, oh well. I destroyed my ankle and leg on July of 2007 and have been on crutches since. Ive had 22 screws, 3 titanium plates, 7 pins, 4 bone grafts, 4 surgeries including 2 double ankle fusions. I still can not get rid of this horrible pain in my leg and ankle! I would like to find a solution if there is one. Thanks.

  • That's rough you've had all those surgeries. I would keep looking for 2nd & 3rd opinions to help you. I'm at my 2nd Pain management Dr. Do you have a PM Dr? I take lyrica and amitriptylline for nerve pain. I'm not sure what meds you're on but I hope you review your meds with your Family Dr. PCP so you'll have some pain control. Take care. Charry

  • I am so sorry to hear of your pain. You have come to the right place for understanding and support when it comes to chronic pain. I agree with the others about finding a PM doc to help control your pain. Good luck and please keep us posted.
