I had C4-7 fusion Dec. 9th, 2008, with plate & cage, I was off work for 8 weeks, returned to work two weeks ago and saw my doctor yesterday. I was released 100%, all of my presurgery pain was gone when I woke up in recovery. I wore the neck brace for six weeks, started PT, I have one week of PT left. I had bad back pain behind my right should blade, it is 95% better and some pain on right side of neck the PT is working on it. I lost 30% motion in my neck but a small price for no longer having the neck, left arm and right wrist pain pior to surgery.
My wife and get to go on a cruise March 4th to Acapulco for our 30th, I have to OK to play golf now too.
I would like to thank each of you for your words of support and your experiences. Good luck to each of you.
