I have pain on the spine and to the right a bit (location about at hip bone height). It typically doesn't hurt all the time. It really only hurts in certain positions like laying down on my stomach, or rotating my hips back and up. Sometimes I've taken a deep breath and gotten a sharp pain in that area.
The pain is rather sharp and makes you take notice when it happens. In my head I imagine the bone poking something or I don't know. I have cervical disc problems, but this feels totally different.
My neuro diagnosed it as a lumbar strain, but I've had it for months now or years off and on and I am beginning to wonder if there is a herniation there.
What are your opinions? Should I get an x ray?
