This is the question I wanted to ask and I hope I do get some amnswers. What are the best positions for sex for a woman suffering herniated disk? My NS said 'do not be too acrobatic about this' but did not provided details. Sorry if this is too much details..

  • The nurse practitioner who sees me sometimes at my Pain Management clinic mentioned some books that "touch" on this very subject. I do not remember the names (I decided to do the "trial by error" method rather than reading about it), but perhaps you could do a google search. Just be sure to do this on you own computer, vs. a work computer because there is no telling WHAT will "pop up" after that kind of search! ;) ;)

Just remember to listen to your body. No more hanging from the rafters, definitely, but exploration can be a wonderful thing. Hopefully your partner is the patient sort and is willing to work with you.

    Good luck in your search!
