well im finishing up week 2 of going back to work!! first week was rough due to not being used to carrying mail in bag on hips. so legs and feet hurt!! second week was better was able to get done on time!! blisters are healing. called doctors yesterday and they said my neck is fusing now.so that was a good sign!! its hard to believe i was able to go back to work with a level 2 acdf with the work i do, but since i changed my ergonomics at work its been nice. im back to my original weight before surgery and still working out daily,just not as much since going back to work!!so thats it for now everyone take it easy!!


  • I was not here when you had your surgery, but I see you have done very well. You did a great job working out and preparing yourself to go back to work. You are an inspiration for everyone going through this process. Good luck with your continuing recovery.

    Fused L2-3 to S1 and at C5-6. I have a central herniation @ T11-12 and multiple bulging discs in my thoracic. I also have fibromyalgia and suspected arachnoiditis, awaiting my results of a recent MRI.
  • It's been almost 3 wks post op. I'm having a hard time walking, I sort of waddle. How long does it take to walk
    normally again. I don't have much pain and my doctor doesn't recommend exerice, just walking. :?
