15 mo Post Op Photo - Am I fusing?

This was called a 4-level PLIF. The L4-L5 and L5-S1 have cages. The 2 above have my disks. Am I fusing? The Dr and I did not address fusing. We discussed other issues.





  • My doc says that you really need CT scan to see early fusion, and xrays are unreliable. And fusion usually isn't visible at all until usually about 3 months. I had a CT recently (at 3 months) and he showed me the new growth, early growth. And you say you are 15 months post op? You should be fully fused now.

    I was fully fused at 11 or 12 mos. Anterior posterior 360 with my own bone harvest.
    Everyone is different. And age is a factor. I was 52
