Painful C7

Okay. Yesterday I had an opthalmic migraine. It started in the morning after being on the computer for a couple hours. I got the flickering lights and then the headache. This was about 10 in the morning. About 8:00pm last night, I noticed that the bone that protrudes the most at the bottom of my Cervical region (I think it's C7) was swollen and painful. I put moist heat on it and then went to bed. This morning, it hurts just as bad. I had my 10 year old son take a look at it and he says, "oh my gosh Mom, what is that?". Great. He says it's all red and huge. My arms are a little tingly this morning and the bump hurts like heck. I lost my job so I now don't have insurance. This is not the first time this vertebrae has been swollen. This happened once before and it went away. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 4 years ago. Have been just dealing with the pain. Anyone know what this could be? Arthritis?

  • I would try to find a way to see a doctor. There are places out their that help low income families.( Not saying that you are low income) At least you may be able to get an x-ray.

If you have Fibro. it may be a muscle spasm.

Do you have any other symptoms? If so please explain?

    This will help alot!

    Good Luck!
