Can anyone explain this to me? What does it mean if the disc is bulging at C3 C4 into the left neural foramin and flattening of the left anterior canal?
The nerves are irritated right ? What does flattening of the anterior canal mean ?
The Dr refused to explain it to me and told me to wait until my next appt.
I know we are not DRS but I was wondering what it means.
Thanks, bethy

where I will say Insist when talking to your doctor. You have every rate to fully understand what the medical condition your doctor is given you. I would not take anything but an explanation that you fully understand

  • I'm speechless ! (for once) How dare anyone, let alone a prefessional surgeon, wave you away like that !

Just as well we all have this community of folks to talk to huh?

I've no idea what it all means I'm afraid, I'm sorry, if I did I would try and help.

  • I agree with everyone on here that your surgeon shouldn't have just pushed you off until your next visit seems unprofessional to me.But to try and answer your one question about the anterior canal. Not a doctor but i believe that there saying that the front of your spinal canal has a flattened appearance to it. don't take it as gospel just what i think it is.there are videos on here actually if you go into conditions that gives you labels of all the different parts of the spine if you want to take a look at it.
